ABOUT ME

I’m Michelle Garcia, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated from Colorado State University in 2016. After graduation, I spent three years providing intensive in-home family therapy. I saw a wide range of issues such as ADHD, anxiety and depression, and trauma. I now provide outpatient services and work with children, adolescents, and adults. My passion is to help people heal from traumatic experiences and develop the relationships they want in life. I am currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapist credential and am under supervision with a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor.

In my personal life, I love to get out in nature for hikes or walks. I also love to travel! I was a French major in college and had the opportunity to study abroad in France and Mali. Most importantly, I always look forward to getting together with friends for good conversation and laughter.

I work with clients of all gender and sexual identities, relationship orientations, race/ethnicities, and religions. If you prefer to work with a clinician who is a member of your community, I will do my best to connect you to an appropriate provider.
